WA Building Certifiers & Assessors (WABCA Group) are one of the largest building surveying and most diversely qualified building certification and approvals consultants in Perth.
WABCA has a team of qualified and highly experienced building industry professionals expanding and increasing the services offered with 16 staff in our East Victoria Park offices.
In order to meet the needs of WABCA’s Commercial and Residential clients, we employ experts in Building Surveying, Town Planning, Design & Drafting, Energy Compliance and Bushfire Assessment.
We are providing consultancy services in the evaluation of designs through building certification, auditing buildings and the facilitation of building approvals in Perth and throughout regional Western Australia.
A Brief History
The WABCA Group was one of the first established in 2011 in anticipation of the gazetting of the Building Act 2011 on the 2nd of April 2012.
The relatively new Act is giving AIBS Qualified Building Surveyors the Legislative ability to conduct building compliance assessments on buildings from Class 1-10. The purpose of this legislative change is to streamline the building approvals process, alleviating the time frame pressures placed on Local Government.

Our drafting division, Approvals By Design, offers design and drafting services for residential and commercial projects from siting of new sheds on an existing property, multiple storey buildings, multiple unit developments and commercial buildings and fit-outs. We use the latest in ArchiCAD software to efficiently complete your project in 3D format.

FORMSCAPE
The FORMSCAPE team provide design & planning consultancy services for residential & commercial developments. We assist builders & developers through the complex planning system by evaluating a proposal’s ability to comply with statutory requirements, either through deemed-to-comply provision, or by addressing relevant design principles.
WA Bushfire Assessment Logic
The WA BAL team are experienced and qualified BAL Assessors & Bushfire Planning Practitioners who identify problem areas of vegetation and assist in lowering your Bushfire Attack Level.
