Concept Design

We work with you to create the concept you envision. Plus provide sound advice during the design process to ensure compliance requirements are met. Knowing Planning and National Construction Code requirements as early as possible during the building process will enable your vision to be realised with minimal revision and without compliance issues.

Site Planning

We can create a site plan for your project allowing easy submission to council for a building that has already otherwise been planned. Your existing documentation and our site plan can both be used for your submission allowing a Development Application or Building Permit Application to be processed smoothly.

Building Information Modelling

Building Information Modelling (BIM) describes the process of designing a building collaboratively using one coherent system of computer models rather than as separate sets of drawings. It offers enormous gains in saving in cost and time, much greater accuracy in estimation, and the avoidance of error, alterations and rework due to information loss. But adopting BIM involves much more than simply changing the software we use. To achieve all the benefits it offers, everyone in the architecture, engineering and construction industries will have to learn to work in fundamentally new ways. BIM is a whole new paradigm.

Building Certification

The preliminary stages of providing building surveying advice for a client often begins prior to a planning application being lodged. Commercial projects are often flagged prior to issuing planning approval by the Local Shire, requiring a range of building compliance issues to be resolved prior to proceeding any further. These interdisciplinary requirements are easily resolved by working with WABCA’s knowledge and consulting with the Local Government to determine if your planning approval may require details of disabled access, fire separation, waste management plans, storm-water retention, hydrant/booster locations, acoustic reports and a range of other preliminary issues identified by engineering, health and technical services departments.
